1) Q: What is ShowerFloss?
A: ShowerFloss is an "Oral Irrigator" attached to your shower. It is similar to the one used in all dental offices. It provides a steady, jet stream of water which you direct between teeth , along gum lines and down into gum pockets. You control the temperature and pressure of the water.

2) Q: Will it fit on my shower?
A: ShowerFloss attaches to all "standard" showers - which is (98% ) of all showers.

3) Q: How do you install it?
A: Remove your showerhead - Attach the Adapter - Attach showerhead onto Adapter. Very simple.

4) Q: How does it work?
A: Your shower supplies the water, you adjust the temperature. The Adapter-Valve allows you to control pressure and flow of water to the pik.

5) Q: Can I use ShowerFloss without actually taking a shower?
A: Yes. First turn Adapter-Valve all the way out - water will be diverted from showerhead. Then turn on shower. Most water is diverted to the pik, re-adjust the valve for optimum position.

6) Q: Does ShowerFloss replace "String" Floss?
A: Yes. Since 90%+ will not use string floss regularly, ShowerFloss is an effective alternative. Most users just brush their teeth and use their ShowerFloss. However, if you do use string floss, please continue - string can be a good supplement to ShowerFlossing.

7) Q: Why is Oral Irrigation more effective than String Floss.

A1: String only cleans the tooth area it contacts. Most people lack the dexterity to use the string completely around each tooth. String will miss low spots or depressions found on all teeth. More importantly, string is useless down in gum pockets where plaque is (60) times more toxic than easy to reach plaque above gum lines. Anyone with braces, or bridgework will find string floss impossible to use effectively.

A2: Oral Irrigators reach all parts of each tooth and down into gum pockets. The jet stream of water dilutes and flushes out plaque and toxic bacteria. The warm water massaging action stimulates gums increasing blood flow to further promote healing. It effectively cleans braces, implants and under bridgework.
